Project description
There are three Stations, Ljósafossstöð bulilt in 1943, Írafossstöð built in 1950-53 and Steingrímsstöð built in 1957-60.
The National Power Company made a plan on renevating all three Power Stations at Sog and divided the work between several engineering companies.
Location
At the river Sog in Árnessýsla, on the south side of Iceland.
Scope of Almenna services
Valuation of excisting buildings. Preperation of technical specification. Earthquake analysis.
Foundation, structural and HVAC design in new buildings. Road design within the Power Plant area.

The project started in 1996 and was processed in several steps until 2002
