Project description
The project work covers a 350 meters long jetty for wave protection and access road consisting of 855 thousand cubic meters of rock fill. Maximum depth of water 24 meters. The harbour takes oil tankers in the range of 35000 to 40000 DWT.
Location
Helguvík cove 1 mile north of Keflavík Town. Unsheltered for wind direction from northeast, and southeast in the Faxaflói Bay.
Scope of Almenna services
Final design and preparation of specifications for the jetty.
