Since the company's founding, our experts have been involved in the design of hydropower plants, wastewater disposal systems, water distribution systems and transport structures. Some of the most recent projects involving hydrology and hydrodynamics have been flow analyses for hydropower plants in the rivers Skaftá, Hólmsá, and Hvalá; a current model for the rivers Úlfarsá and Bugðá in order to assess flooding hazards; flow measurements for the wastewater disposal systems in Akranes and Borgarnes; flow measurements and analysis for the rivers Varmá in Mosfellsbær, Laxá and Þverá in Svínadalur, and Leirá and Bugalæk in Leirársveit in Hvalfjörður.

Groundwater levels around Keflavík Airport have also been measured, and pumping tests have been performed as part of research on the specific yield of the projected water reserve in Leirársveit.
