Since its founding, Almenna Consulting Engineers has provided a broad spectrum of consulting services for energy and utilities projects. The Energy and Utilities division has the experience and the specialized technical equipment to deal with complex and multi-faceted projects, ranging from project feasibility assessments to final design, and the division can also assist with procurement of any additional technical equipment required.

The planning and design of utilities projects requires extensive research, for example on the soil and rock mechanics properties of the site on which the facilities are to be built, as well as measurements of water and groundwater levels. Almenna Consulting also has extensive experience of designing dams and other structures, as well as machinery design, project management and construction supervision.
